Q: Are the wood products food safe?

A: The wood products are treated with non-toxic natural Tung oil to insure that they are moisture resistant and safe for use with foods. Tung oil captures the natural color and grain of the wood

Q: How do I take care of the item?

A: To enjoy an extended life of the product do not wash in an automatic dishwasher or soak in the sink, however wash with a dish detergent and wipe dry. With a soft cloth periodically rub Tung oil, mineral oil or a natural wax onto the wood surface to restore its lustre and moisture resistance.

Q; Where do you obtain your wood from?

A: All the wood used is salvaged from trees already cut that were destined for the landfill or firewood use. No trees are cut for the sole purpose of creating my objects.
